- Apply 1-2 drops of lavender essential oil to spine, bottoms of feet, or back of neck.
- Add 1-2 drops of lavender essential oil to warm bathwater and bathe before sleeping.
- Diffuse into the air.
- Apply 1-2 drops of lavender essential oil to the bottom of pillow before sleeping.
- Add 5 drops of lavender essential oil to approx. 1 ounce of water, place in a small spray bottle, and mist in the air before sleeping (Modern Essentials, 2015).
Lavender Essential Oil for Occasional Stress
- Diffuse into the air.
- Inhale directly from bottle.
- Apply to hands and inhale.
- Massage 1-2 drops of lavender essential oil into the back of the neck or temples.
