A Word About the Safety of Essential Oils for Dry Lips
As I discussed, there are several essential oils for dry lips. When using essential oils, it is very important to understand that all oils are not created equal. Please be sure that you purchase therapeutic grade essential oils that are certified pure from a reputable source. Many oils found in stores and online are filled with cheap filler oils and some are even toxic. Please do your homework before using any essential oil brand. Please note that all essential oils are not intended to be used internally and some may cause sun sensitivity.

Kendra Alexander
Thank you for sharing this! I too thought about using a glass roller ball bottle to combine a carrier oil and essential oils like a lip gloss for my lips! Nice to see someone had the same idea so I’m definitely trying it. I feel better about it knowing someone else suggested it. I’m fairly new to EOs and making my own products but just recently my lips are a wreck and no matter what I use, I just can’t get my poor lips healed and back to normal! Feeling desperate so thanks a bunch!

Thanks for stopping by! I really like using glass roller bottles with my essential oils. It makes the application so much easier. I especially like the ones with the stainless steel roller ball since it makes the oils feel cool going on–especially when I use my “under the eye” oil blend!
